Contractor’s Liability (General Liability)

Like other business owners, contractors typically need general liability insurance. A lack of general liability puts a contractor at risk on multiple levels. Commercial Automobile

Commercial jobs normally require $1,000,000 level of coverage. Personal auto policies usually do not offer limits this high or cover vehicles used commercially. Contractor’s License Bonds

Most states require a contractor to be bonded before he can get a license. A Contractors License Bond provides financial guarantee that the contractor will perform a job correctly. If the contractor does not fulfill the contract, the surety company will pay a predetermined amount of money to the customer. Professional Liability

More commonly known as “Errors & Omissions (E&O) is a form of liability insurance that helps protect professionals. Common claims that Professional Liability insurance covers are negligence, misrepresentation, violation of good faith and fair dealing, and inaccurate advice.  Professional Liability insurance is required by law in some areas for certain kinds of professional practice (especially medical and legal), and is also sometimes required under contract by other businesses that are the beneficiaries of the advice or service.
